Key Responsibilities:
- Establish the internal logistics framework adhering to the principles of the SPS.
- Develop local storage solutions that comply with SE Global architecture standards, including standardized operational guidelines, spatial layouts, and material storage systems.
- Leverage Lean principles to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
- Design warehouse dimensions to fulfill safety, capacity, quality, and operational efficiency objectives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic standards in all warehouse and material handling processes.
- Integrate and configure the SAP system for effective warehouse management.
- Lead the ongoing enhancement of digital transformation initiatives within Material Providing and Handling (MPH) and Warehouse operations by implementing cutting-edge automation and technology to boost safety, quality, time, and cost-effectiveness.
- Plan routes for the removal of finished products and waste materials.
- Conduct audits of established protocols to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Generate and present comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications for Success:
- A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline is required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with SAP systems is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in designing flow architecture for warehouse layouts.
- Familiarity with Lean methodologies in warehouse settings, including the digital transformation of MPH and Warehouse operations.
- Experience in determining warehouse design specifications.
- Knowledge of route planning for the disposal of finished goods and waste.
- Strong collaborative skills in a dynamic, multicultural team setting.
- Ability to safely work in environments involving chemicals, hazardous materials, and various types of equipment.
