Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information.
- Prepare patients for exams, position and immobilize them as needed, and select proper imaging and data processing techniques.
- Collaborate with departmental and hospital personnel to ensure effective working relations and communication.
- Calibrate and verify equipment operation, perform quality control procedures, and complete paperwork and RIS functions as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date on developments and trends in imaging techniques, procedures, and equipment, and participate in education programs and research studies.
- Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Valid Massachusetts license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Registered or eligible for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Diagnostic CT certification within one year of hire date.
