Dispensing Nurse - LPN/LVN

MedMark Treatment Center is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a Dispensing Nurse, you will play a crucial role in dispensing prescribed medications to patients in a treatment setting. Your responsibilities will include administering daily medication, maintaining dispensing equipment, and reporting patient treatment information.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.
  • Maintain dispensing equipment and ensure compliance with security standards for controlled substances.
  • Produce and maintain records and reports as required by Company protocol, Federal and State Regulations.
  • Order, receive, and stock medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations.
  • Provide daily assessment of patients and assist in orienting new nursing staff.
Qualifications:
  • Current and good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of West Virginia.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • EMR and computer proficiency desired.
  • Experience in chemical dependency preferred.
