We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at Arauco. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mill machinery and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair mill machinery and electrical systems
- Provide electrical support and maintenance for hydraulics, pneumatics, hot oil systems, pumps, fans, and conveyors
- Replace motors, motor starters, sensors, and variable frequency drives
- Troubleshoot Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLC), associated I/O, and control networks
- Troubleshoot plant control instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters)
- Maintain mill power distribution systems (480V, 575V, 4160V, and 13.8kV)
- Document all work performed in the CMMS
- Promote safe work practices, including LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, etc.
- High school diploma
- 5+ years industrial manufacturing maintenance experience
- Demonstrated electrical and technical aptitude
- Allen Bradley PLC knowledge
- Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience
- Three years AC & DC motor control experience (including drives) required
- Three years electrical troubleshooting experience required
