About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mail Clerk to join our team at DivIHN Integration Inc. As a Mail Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mailroom, handling mail and packages, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and process mail documents, packages, and supplies
- Notify recipients and deliver mail on scheduled runs
- Record and process accountable mail information, maintain logs, and track trace and resolve mail problems
- Prepare mail and packages for external shipment and coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Perform quality checks on outbound mail, validate internal mail addresses, and use common mail services
- Fill out shipping forms, perform finishing work on documents, and perform electronic mail distribution
- Perform fulfillment functions, follow mailroom security procedures, and barcode tracking or face scanning incoming mail and packages
- Monitor and manage supplies inventory, mail and distribution activities, and send and receive email messages
- Arrange alternative courier or shipping services to meet customer requirements and fully operate, clean, and maintain all shipping and mail equipment
Requirements:
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Able to demonstrate ability to read, write, and follow English instructions
- Able to demonstrate PC/Internet skills, basic open applications, create and find file folders, and delete and recover files
- Able to demonstrate customer service and communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Able to demonstrate ability to perform data entry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced delivering services in a client environment
- Introductory knowledge of MS Word or equivalent, and MS Excel or equivalent
