Key Responsibilities- Greeting and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
- Unit Sales and Rentals: Assist customers in selecting the ideal storage unit, complete all necessary paperwork, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Facility Maintenance: Conduct regular walk-throughs and lock checks to ensure the facility is secure and well-maintained.
- Account Management: Track and follow up on past due accounts, ensuring timely payment and minimizing delinquencies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer transactions, including payments and notes.
- Bank Deposits and Reconciliation: Process daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts as instructed.
- Marketing and Merchandising: Participate in monthly marketing efforts, including calls, visits, emails, and social media postings to promote our services.
- Merchandise Management: Maintain a well-stocked inventory of merchandise for customer purchase.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean vacant units to rentable condition and ensure the grounds, office, and bathrooms are clean and presentable at all times.
- Auction Preparation: Prepare auction units according to procedure and lien law as needed.
- U-Haul Support: Assist customers with U-Haul rentals, cleaning, and equipment returns.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this position.
- Background Check and Drug Screen: A successful background check and drug screen are required for this position.
- Attitude and Aptitude Testing: Candidates must pass attitude and aptitude testing to ensure a good fit for our team.
