Job Summary

This is a pool position for an Occupational Therapist to cover mostly weekend days and call outs at our acute care inpatient center. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that integrate with the continuum of care, with specific goals and objectives.
  • Assess patient data to identify their requirements and provide care that meets their age-specific needs.
  • Use and maintain profession-specific equipment, observing safety precautions and providing verbal explanations of the equipment and its purpose.
  • Re-evaluate and modify treatment plans as needed, and prepare written documentation as required by the department and care team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an approved program in occupational therapy.
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida (temporary permit acceptable).
  • Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
