Compensation: $71.40 per hour

Position Details:

  • Field: Mental Health OT-10H Class: RECT Shift: 1 Start: 07:00:00 End: 17:30:00
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience within the past 36 months as a Recreational Therapist
  • Strong ability to establish rapport with clients
  • Empathetic and nurturing attitude
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association)
Certificates from the National Council for Therapeutic Certification (NCTRC) or the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification (CBRPC) are accepted.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate client needs
  • Review medical histories
  • Engage in personal observations and discussions with clients and their families
  • Implement a therapeutic program tailored to individual client requirements
  • Stay informed about community and therapeutic resources to best support clients
  • Document client progress during activities
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by a supervisor
