Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Aspirus Stevens Point. This is a 13 to 17-week contract position with guaranteed hours per week of 24. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience and be able to work a 12hr variable shift schedule with every other weekend/holiday rotation.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including those with critical and unstable conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Document patient information and progress in the electronic medical record
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
- Current WI RN license
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certification
- 2+ years of ICU experience
- 2 years of experience in a critical care setting
- Ability to work a 12hr variable shift schedule
- Ability to work every other weekend/holiday rotation
- Epic charting experience
- ICU experience in a similar setting
The ICU at Aspirus Stevens Point is a 32-bed unit with 3 levels of care, including ICU, stepdown, and med-surg. The unit is located on the 2nd floor of the hospital and has a team-oriented and supportive environment.
