Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect equipment and components to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and branch staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Complete service tickets accurately and efficiently, adhering to company procedures and protocols.
  • Manage inventory and track stock levels to ensure necessary parts are available for repairs.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.
  • Set a positive example for less experienced technicians and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC/R maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently.
  • Standard computer skills and ability to navigate company software.
  • Industry-standard hand tools and ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and crawl in tight spaces.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new techniques and approaches.
  • Universal EPA certification highly preferred.
