Key Responsibilities

  • Implement care plans designed by providers and physical therapists to restore function and improve quality of life.
  • Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and techniques with clarity and compassion.
  • Recommend adjustments to treatment plans to ensure patient safety, progress, and comfort.
  • Apply evidence-based practices to reduce symptoms, prevent injury, and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Measure and document patient progress in their medical records accurately.
  • Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards in all patient interactions.
  • Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.

What You Bring

Qualifications

  • An associate or bachelor's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting (PTA).
  • An active license or relevant certification to practice as a PTA.
  • Proven experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, including hands-on work with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of physiology and best practices in physical therapy.
  • A strong ability to communicate and instruct effectively.
  • Proficiency in healthcare administration and documentation.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • The physical ability to lift 40+ lbs. and assist patients as needed.
