Job Title: Radiology Imaging Specialist

Department: University Hospital | Imaging Services

Scope of Position

The Imaging Services Division includes advanced imaging facilities. The Imaging Specialist collaborates closely with radiologists, referring physicians, and clinical scientists to deliver high-quality imaging for patient care and treatment.

Position Summary

The Imaging Specialist performs nuclear medicine procedures using advanced radiation-detecting equipment, including SPECT and PET technologies. This role involves computer processing and image enhancement, providing images, data analysis, and patient information to physicians for diagnostic and therapeutic interpretation, under the guidance of Imaging Services Leadership.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography, Nuclear Technologist certification, and/or registration with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. Current licensure from the Department of Health is required. No prior experience is necessary, although 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
