Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hygienist to join our team at Smile Design Dentistry in Arcadia, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Provide oral care to patients and assist the dentist in various procedures.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for improving oral health.
  • Take digital dental x-rays and assist the dentist during dental procedures.
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation to patients as needed.
  • Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Assist with infection control procedures and sterilization of dental instruments.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in oral health care and attend continuing education programs as required.
Qualifications
  • Valid state Hygienist license.
  • Proficient in performing oral prophylaxis and scaling.
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral diseases, and treatment options.
  • Experience with digital x-rays and dental software systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with dental professionals.
  • Attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
