Position Overview & Requirements- Specialty: Medical Equipment Specialist

- 40 hours per week

The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Ensuring the maintenance, calibration, and assessment of dialysis machines and related equipment.
- Documenting, maintaining, and interpreting all reports and relevant documentation.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly quality assurance reports related to dialysis systems.
- Maintaining an adequate supply of spare parts for equipment upkeep.
- Reporting equipment malfunctions to the appropriate management personnel.
- Monitoring and maintaining the water treatment facility.
- Keeping track of unit stock and placing orders as necessary.
- Staying informed about new equipment and treatment techniques.
- Maintaining professional relationships with vendors to ensure effective communication regarding nephrology developments.
- Conducting quality control evaluations of dialysis machines and water treatment systems.
- Responsible for the cleaning and disinfection of dialysis equipment.
- Knowledgeable about safety and proper handling of chemicals used in the dialysis unit.
- Willingness to engage in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborating with the Hemodialysis team to uphold the highest standards of patient care.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Tact Medical Staffing Job ID #. The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
