The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including:

  1. Ensuring the maintenance, calibration, and assessment of dialysis machines and related equipment.
  2. Documenting, maintaining, and interpreting all reports and relevant documentation.
  3. Assisting in the preparation of monthly quality assurance reports related to dialysis systems.
  4. Maintaining an adequate supply of spare parts for equipment upkeep.
  5. Reporting equipment malfunctions to the appropriate management personnel.
  6. Monitoring and maintaining the water treatment facility.
  7. Keeping track of unit stock and placing orders as necessary.
  8. Staying informed about new equipment and treatment techniques.
  9. Maintaining professional relationships with vendors to ensure effective communication regarding nephrology developments.
  10. Conducting quality control evaluations of dialysis machines and water treatment systems.
  11. Responsible for the cleaning and disinfection of dialysis equipment.
  12. Knowledgeable about safety and proper handling of chemicals used in the dialysis unit.
  13. Willingness to engage in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Collaborating with the Hemodialysis team to uphold the highest standards of patient care.
  15. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Tact Medical Staffing Job ID #. The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
