Job Title: Pharmacist Intern Senior On-Call

Job Summary: The University of Kentucky is seeking a Pharmacist Intern Senior On-Call to join our team. This position is designed to expose student interns to all facets of specialty pharmacy practice, including rotations through specialty operations, multiple disease state specific call centers, clinics, and the infusion center.

Responsibilities:

  • Rotate through specialty operations, multiple disease state specific call centers, clinics, and the infusion center
  • Participate in clinical research projects and develop policies and procedures
  • Gain experience in ambulatory retail pharmacy operations and develop skills in prioritization and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist Intern
  • High school diploma or equivalent and admission to a college of pharmacy
  • Ability to work on call and rotate through various shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Retail ambulatory experience
