We invite highly skilled Child/Adolescent Psychiatrists to join our dynamic team at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment, providing high-quality care to patients and their families.

Practice Details:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts, including Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, Psychiatric RNs, Pediatric Medicine Hospitalists, Program Directors, Psychiatric Associates, Chemical Dependency Counselors, and Recreational Therapists.
  • Work in modern patient care environments with therapeutic areas such as sensory rooms, a pool, and a playground.
  • See patients in our General and Intensive Treatment units, with an average of 8-9 encounters per day.
  • Potential to teach residents and contribute to the development of future healthcare professionals.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE) with a competitive salary range: $250,000-$300,000 annually.
  • No weeknight call; on-call rounding is limited to 1 Saturday per month (8 patients plus consults).

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship training program.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
  • Licensed or able to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
  • Able to maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
