Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women and families in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments of complex health issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in midwifery and women's health.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in nursing with a focus on midwifery.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • Ohio Certificate of Authority as a Nurse Midwife.
  • National Certification as a Nurse Midwife.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Five years of clinical experience, with three years in the area of specialty preferred.
