Your Role DEPCOM Power, a division of Koch Engineered Solutions, is seeking a Quality Assurance Leader. This position entails significant travel to various project locations, with provisions for per diem and regular home visits.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate quality inspections across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure compliance with DEPCOM's quality benchmarks and contractual requirements for solar and energy projects.
- Familiarize yourself with the established project documentation, guidelines, and specifications.
- Conduct audits and confirm accurate completion and documentation practices.
- Ensure that on-site quality personnel are aligned with expectations and are adequately trained for quality inspections, sampling, and related tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to gather insights and devise innovative solutions to emerging quality challenges.
- Manage subcontractor quality in construction inspection and documentation processes mandated by DEPCOM as the Prime Contractor.
- Foster accountability in quality management by setting clear expectations and providing timely feedback.
- Enhance decision-making through knowledge sharing and evaluation of various options.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure transparency and address issues collaboratively.
- Represent DEPCOM in site kick-off meetings as the Quality representative regarding all quality-related matters.
- Create quality inspection checklists and testing plans in accordance with IFC drawings, AHJ's, and applicable codes.
- Investigate instances of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with site leadership, including Project Managers and Construction Managers, to establish best practices tailored to specific site needs.
- Proficient in data collection and reporting.
- Background in construction, manufacturing, or relevant military experience.
- Familiarity with software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience in document management.
- Knowledge of contract management processes.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering fields.
- Background in solar energy projects.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Ability to interpret and understand contracts.
