Kunin Associates is seeking a seasoned Forensics Senior Manager/Family Law professional to join their Forensic Accounting team in Fort Lauderdale.

The ideal candidate will lead client assignments, prepare expert witness exhibits, and ensure compliance with statutory and family codes. A deep understanding of family law, forensic accounting, and financial analysis is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preliminary valuation, forensic, and appraisal analyses, including comparative adjusted financial statements and data input for expert witness exhibits.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of relevant statutory and family codes and their applicability to accounting principles in forensic accounting.
  • Participate in client assignments from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Create forensic and economic models to present forensic standard accounting systems.
  • Identify case issues and collaborate with team members to resolve and improve processes.
  • Work closely with the discovery team to inventory and reconcile documents and data in preparation for submission to courts, attorneys, and clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of exhibits and background information for expert witness testimony.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, client confidentiality, and ethical behavior.
  • Participate in the training and development of staff, fostering a team-centered approach to client service.
  • Monitor client issues related to compliance services, engagement status, and profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience in forensic accounting, with a strong focus on family law cases.
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory and family codes, particularly as they relate to forensic accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in training and mentoring staff.
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards.
