About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Financial Reporting Analyst to perform general accounting activities at Clear Channel Outdoor (CCO). The successful candidate will be involved in various branch locations and work in a team environment to develop policy and procedures over general accounting activities and establish best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Month-end Close Activities: Ownership of select general ledger accounts, preparing and posting journal entries, reviewing account activity, preparing periodic account reconciliations, explaining account activity, and preparing account analyses.
- Financial Analysis: Develops and maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of CCO Accounting policies, financial systems, transaction processes, internal controls, and chart of accounts.
- Audit Assistance: Prepares audit work papers for internal and external auditors and explains work papers provided, procedures followed, and internal controls applied.
- Special Projects: Completes special projects as assigned.
- Maintain Documentation: Recommends updates to desktop procedures and process flows as part of best practice of maintaining current documentation and continuously challenges current processes to suggest and implement improvements in policy, procedure, and systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- CPA attained or in process.
- Highly committed, reliable, and competent professional with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Well organized; self-starter; ability to get things done in a team-oriented environment.
- Solid analytic skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel.
- Firm focus on process improvement.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Accounting and Reporting: Applying an understanding of accounting and reporting concepts and methodologies.
- Collaborating with Others: Working together with others in a cooperative and supportive manner to achieve shared goals.
- Reconciliation and Analysis: Reconciling and analyzing financial information to inform decision-making in the organization.
- Processing and Recording Financial Transactions: Processing financial transactions to ensure the effective recording and tracking of revenues and expenditures.
- Business Perspective: Using an understanding of business issues, processes, and outcomes to enhance business performance.
- Achievement Orientation: Focusing efforts on achieving high-quality results consistent with the organization's standards.
- Planning and Organizing: Reaching goals by making and following plans, setting and sticking to priorities, and allocating resources effectively.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
