Job Summary

Langan is seeking a dynamic leader to join its collaborative team in our Philadelphia, PA office.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage environmental projects, ensuring accurate interpretations and timely completion of data collections and lab analyses.
  • Develop repeat business through excellent client services and new business opportunities through industry connections.
  • Supervise staff, conducting performance review meetings, providing feedback, and mentoring for professional growth.
  • Focus on investigation and remediation of PFAS and other contaminants of emerging concern.
  • Lead report preparation, modification, and implementation of sound professional judgment.
  • Perform complex analyses for specific project portions, applying technical knowledge and standard practices.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks within budgets, schedules, and deadlines, minimizing write-offs.
  • Apply innovative approaches to problems, recognizing inconsistent results and consulting with others as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline, Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of remediation experience in remedial engineering technology selection and evaluation, pilot testing, remedial system design, environmental permitting, and feasibility studies/evaluation, site characterization and investigations.
  • Licensed Site Remediation Professional, Professional Engineer, or Professional Geologist licensure.
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of PADEP, NJDEP, RCRA, MGP, PFAS, and superfund regulations.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and related environmental software, AutoCAD, and/or GIS a plus.
