Responsibilities:- Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and comfort, including pain management and wound care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote informed decision-making and self-care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing.
- Current state licensure to practice nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
