Role Summary

The Room Service Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel's public spaces. Key duties may include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning designated areas
  • Setting up and maintaining complimentary services in the hotel lobby, including coffee stations and evening concierge events
  • Preparing meeting rooms for functions
  • Delivering requested items to guest rooms from the front desk
  • Operating the shuttle van as required

Qualifications

+ A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.

+ A valid driver's license for the applicable state is required, along with a satisfactory driving record.

+ Strong communication skills are essential for conveying information effectively.

+ Ability to assess situations and make quick decisions is necessary.

+ Must perform well in high-pressure environments while maintaining composure.

Responsibilities

+ Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

+ Daily cleaning and buffing of floors in accordance with hotel standards.

+ Regularly shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.

+ Maintain cleanliness in public restrooms and ensure regular maintenance throughout shifts.

+ Provide friendly and efficient assistance with luggage during check-in and check-out.

+ Practice safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues.

+ Manage lost and found items according to hotel policies.

+ At the end of each shift, return all keys and assignment sheets to the appropriate department.

+ Complete daily task checklists and submit them to the supervisor.

+ Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
