Material Handler

Levy is a leading provider of food, beverage, and retail services, operating in over 200 entertainment, sports, and restaurant venues across the country. We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team at Iowa State University. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives and stores materials, tools, equipment, and products in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains accurate inventory records, including tracking inventory levels, monitoring inventory turnover, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Coodinates with production teams to ensure smooth operations and meets customer demand.
• Develops and implements inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.
• Provides training and support to production staff on inventory procedures and policies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in inventory management or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
