Situated in the scenic foothills of North Carolina, Frye Regional Medical Center is a 355-bed acute care hospital complemented by an 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and over 70 primary and specialty care providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement care plans, including administering medications, collecting specimens, and performing clinical treatments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care provided.
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions effectively to the care team, physicians, patients, and their families.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care, including transfers, discharges, and addressing psychosocial needs.
- Assess educational needs of patients and families, providing tailored education based on age, culture, and condition.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional health of patients.
- Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
- Determine staffing levels and assignments based on various factors including staff availability and patient acuity.
- Provide direct patient care as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
