We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our advanced Diagnostic Imaging team at Recruitz Staffing.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and contributing to our mission of providing excellent patient care through cutting-edge molecular imaging technology.

This position requires a blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in medical imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
  • Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures with precision and care
  • Operate gamma cameras and other specialized equipment to capture images
  • Process and analyze imaging data to assist in diagnosis
  • Implement radiation safety measures to protect patients, staff, and the environment
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
  • Assist in training new technologists and students
  • Stay current with advances in nuclear medicine technology and best practices

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
  • Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Proficiency in nuclear medicine procedures and imaging techniques
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and regulations
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AA or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
  • Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and CT or PET/CT
  • Experience with advanced nuclear medicine techniques (e.g., SPECT/CT, PET/CT)
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems
