About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Mechanical Engineer - Mine Hoist to serve as the primary contact for all technical aspects of our mine hoist systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance program, providing technical support, and conducting inspections and audits to ensure the proper operation and safety level of the systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the maintenance program for mine hoist systems, ensuring timely and effective maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Provide technical support for installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance of mine hoist equipment, identifying technical problems and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of mine hoist systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Consult with customers on the best service solutions, providing expert advice on maintenance, repair, and optimization of mine hoist systems.
  • Identify potential equipment failures and take corrective actions to prevent downtime and ensure system reliability.
  • Report work done in a timely manner and follow up as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, with a minimum of 2 years of related experience in industrial systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mine hoist systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, and brake control systems, and industrial cooling systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Valid passport and driver's license, with the ability to travel internationally.
