Speech Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based evaluation and therapy techniques for children with communication and/or oral-motor/feeding disorders.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and/or oral-motor/feeding disorders in children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs.
• Collaborate with families, other therapists, nurses, social workers, and contractors to provide high-quality care and optimal outcomes.
• Participate in training and education of students and pre-service professionals, as well as community outreach and education.
• May supervise speech assistants and/or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) professionals.

• Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Hold an Arkansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or be eligible to obtain licenses within 1 month from date of hire.
