Nurse Endoscopist

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join its dynamic team. As a key member of our Endoscopy Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in GI/Endoscopy, Pre-Op, Intra-Op, or Post-Op care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide high-quality patient care and education to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in GI/Endoscopy, Pre-Op, Intra-Op, or Post-Op care
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
• BLS Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
