KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Social Services Designee, your role will include:
- Establishing and nurturing collaborative relationships with fellow caregivers to ensure their involvement in programs that enhance residents' psychosocial well-being.
- Documenting and reporting any grievances or complaints to the Director of Social Services.
- Acting as an advocate for residents, ensuring their needs are met consistently, including maintaining a proper appearance and addressing any changes in their condition promptly.
- Providing insights to the Director of Social Services to assist in addressing residents' challenges and improving their experiences.
- Enhancing the quality of services and expanding opportunities for resident engagement.
- Collaborating with the activities department to encourage family participation in events.
- Upholding the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
- Performing general social services tasks as required.
