Screening Chemist

**Job Summary**

Clinical Reference Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled Screening Chemist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory staff, you will be responsible for analyzing urine, oral fluid, and sweat patch aliquots for the presence of drugs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and record needed documentation on instrumentation, including Tecan and Beckman systems.
• Conduct chemical analyses using microplate readers and microplate chemistries.
• Develop and implement new methods for detecting and quantifying drugs in biological samples.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely results.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in laboratory technology and techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
