eTeam Inc is currently looking for a travel nurse RN specializing in Medical Surgical for a travel nursing opportunity.
Position Overview & Requirements- Specialty: Medical Surgical

- Shift: 8 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Candidates must possess an active Washington state nursing license to be considered. Please indicate the status of your WA license: Active, In Process, or No License on your profile. If your license is in process, please provide the application date and estimated issue date. Additionally, if you have previously worked as permanent staff for any Providence-affiliated facility, a minimum separation of 3 months is required to qualify for this travel contract.
Open to candidates with experience as a MSW Care Manager (with either an Associate clinical license or LCISW) or RN Care Manager. Required qualifications include: 1) a Master's degree in social work and 2) a Washington-issued post-MSW license such as the licensed social work associate independent clinical. The associate licenses are prerequisites for obtaining full social work licenses. Please confirm that the submission clinician has the necessary documentation.
Experience in case management and discharge planning is essential. While utilization management experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Local candidates may be considered at travel rates.
Skills Required:
- General Skills: Experience in Acute Hospital settings, handling patients with communication challenges, and familiarity with community programs.
- Case Management/Assessment: Proficiency in admission criteria, initial evaluations, care plan development, and discharge planning.
- Care Coordination: Ability to coordinate home care services and document information for effective care coordination.
- Documentation: Accurate documentation according to the plan of care and understanding of coverage criteria.
Major Disease Processes: Experience with conditions such as Dementia and Stroke is required, while knowledge of Cancer, CHF, COPD, Diabetes, and other disorders is preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with CMS, CPT coding, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations is required.
