Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Rhythm Technician to join our team at UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures and functions for electro diagnostics, observing cardiac monitors, and identifying, calculating, interpreting, and communicating information regarding cardiac rhythms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply and discontinue telemetry services as instructed
  • Enter, edit, and other paperwork as applicable to the department
  • Collaborate with patients and their support system to provide individualized care
  • Administer and evaluate medication therapies, perform patient transfers, and transport patients via wheelchair, hospital bed, or stretcher to other departments
  • Communicate individualized plan of care and patient's progress toward goals to all members of the care team
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Experience with medical terminology and CPR-basic
  • Ability to operate electronic and computer-based equipment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of cardiac monitor interpretation, skills, and abilities
