Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Research Medical Center MO. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Orthopedic and Trauma unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients with orthopedic and trauma-related conditions, including post-operative care and management of complex wounds.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange and promoting a culture of transparency and respect.
  • Assist with the management of unit operations, including staffing, supply chain, and equipment maintenance, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in orthopedic and trauma care, with a focus on post-operative management and wound care.
  • Advanced skills in telehealth, NIH, and orthopedic nursing, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
