Men's Baseball Coach and Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and instruction to student athletes, focusing on individual development and team success.
  • Recruit and manage a team of talented players, developing relationships with travel and high school coaches in the region and state.
  • Organize and manage training and practice activities, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
  • Develop and implement individual development plans for each player, focusing on skill improvement and team cohesion.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including athletic budget, eligibility, compliance, and travel documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with NCAA recruiting and compliance procedures, ensuring adherence to all regulations.

Requirements:

  • An advanced degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent level of education, training, and work experience.
  • Coaching and/or recruiting experience in baseball at the collegiate level, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with student athletes, coaches, and staff.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience at the Division I level, with a strong understanding of NCAA regulations and procedures.
  • Experience with statistical software, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
