About the Job

This position is part of the Minnesota Tic and Compulsivity (MnTiC) Lab at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain (MIDB), University of Minnesota. The lab conducts research to better understand and improve current treatments for tic disorders and OCD in child, adolescent and young adult populations.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) on ongoing research projects that involve behavioral therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), neuroimaging, behavioral assessments and video tasks. This role requires a strong commitment to providing Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) therapy for research participants, training and supervision by a licensed psychologist will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting and assisting with research study therapy and assessment visits
- Providing data collection support for participant visits using multiple methods
- Participating in trainings and lab/team meetings to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills
- Assisting with data management tasks, such as setting up research team and data protocols, team scheduling, video-based behavioral therapy data coding, protocol updating, data checking, and generating data summaries for reports

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree plus at least two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least six years. Relevant experience includes providing therapy or similar clinical care with diverse families and youth with mental health related diagnosis. Experience conducting research is also essential.

A competitive salary range for this position is $24.00/h - $26.00/h, depending on education/qualifications/experience.
