Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Perishable Department Team Member to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Perishable Department Team Member, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure a fresh and appealing display by maintaining clean and well-stocked cases and shelves.
  • Help to maximize sales potential by effectively merchandising and promoting perishable products.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
