Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Specialist to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our revenue cycle management team, you will be responsible for monitoring accounts, identifying overdue balances, and prioritizing collection efforts.

Our company is a leading provider of beverage destruction and recycling services in North America. With regional facilities across the US, we offer national services to various industries, including alcohol and non-alcohol beverage, pharmaceutical, health & beauty, and industrial alcohol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor accounts to identify overdue balances and prioritize collection efforts
  • Reach out to clients with past due amounts via phone and/or email to inquire about payment status
  • Maintain collections notes in accounting software (Great Plains)
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues and request credits/ad hoc invoices when required
  • Work with sales, customer service, and accounting to address customer concerns and ensure accurate billing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Requirements:

  • Corporate or B2B collections experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamic Great Plains a plus

Estimated Salary: $45,600 - $50,400 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming an hourly rate of $22-$25 per hour.
