About the Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join our school community and make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead workshops, training sessions, and community events focused on social-emotional learning, character development, and student wellness.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local community agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to enhance student support and services.
  • Provide crisis intervention and response, adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and laws.
  • Conduct home visits, parent-teacher conferences, and other outreach activities to engage families and build trust.
  • Support students with disabilities, English language learners, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring inclusive and equitable practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and trends in school social work, incorporating innovative approaches into daily practice.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
  • Professional Educator's License (PEL) with an endorsement in School Support Personnel for School Social Work.
  • Three years of experience working with high school students and their families, preferably in urban settings.
  • Bilingual or multilingual fluency preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
