We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Landsman Development Corp, Inc. As a key member of our property operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our properties, including maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all building systems, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, appliances, painting/drywall, HVAC, fire and security systems, and elevators.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Schedule, coordinate, and monitor maintenance personnel and activities to ensure timely and effective completion of work.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an adequate inventory of property supplies and equipment, and coordinate supply orders with the Community Manager and Purchasing Manager.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
- Supervision: Supervise and train maintenance and grounds personnel, and provide input to the Community Manager on staff evaluations and performance reviews.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in multifamily or construction site management, with prior experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, and building systems.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, time management, and verbal and written skills; mechanical aptitude, skillful use of equipment and tools, and physical and manual dexterity skills; computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate the Internet.
The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and be on-call as needed. The position requires the ability to lift, move and transport up to 50lbs without assistance, and to walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs, access and work in confined spaces as well as at heights in excess of 20 feet.
