Job Title: Echocardiographer Cardiac Sonography Technologist

UCHealth YVMC YampaCare Cardiology is seeking a skilled Echocardiographer Cardiac Sonography Technologist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a PRN, 0.0 FTE position with a rotating shift schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, performing various ultrasound procedures, and contributing to the safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Provides patient education regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure patient understanding and cooperation
  • Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures on equipment
  • Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary
  • Analyzes results and identifies issues with imaging quality
