As a leading addiction treatment provider of outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT), we treat patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) using medications such as methadone and suboxone/buprenorphine. Our team of experienced professionals is passionate about helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow policies and procedures to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the medical provider's orders.
- Dispense daily and take-home medication at the dosing window.
- Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff for continuity of patient care.
- Maintain and complete accurate patient documentation, including assessing for impairment.
- Ensure medication count is accurate and completed daily.
- Follow compliance policies and procedures around documentation practices and expectations.
- Participate in nursing team meetings and cross-treatment meetings.
- Connect with patients, offering empathy and a listening ear to those struggling.
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse License issued in the state in which they will be practicing or a multi-state compact status license.
- License should be in good standing, unencumbered, and active. If applicable, disciplinary actions documented on any license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- 3+ years of nursing experience is preferred.
- Strong phlebotomy skills, experience drawing blood on collapsed veins is a plus.
- Active and current CPR or BLS certification is preferred.
