Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced PICU nurse to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric intensive care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children in the PICU setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment plans
- Participate in educational programs and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education of staff members
- Current RN licensure in Alaska or eligibility for reciprocity
- Minimum 1 year experience in pediatric intensive care or critical care nursing
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
