About the Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform respiratory care procedures, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Conduct pulmonary function testing and interpret results to diagnose respiratory disorders.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, test results, and medication administration.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and process efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of work experience as a respiratory care practitioner within the last five (5) years.
  • Current National Board of Respiratory Care certification (CRT) or registration (RRT).
  • State license or certification as required by law or regulation and the contracting employer.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training, additional certifications may be required dependent upon facility requirements.
