Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team at Jobot. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees, and requires expertise with ADP Workforce Now.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle payroll for employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
  • Review and verify payroll data, including timesheets, hours worked, and other wage-related information.
  • Administer and reconcile payroll deductions, such as benefits, garnishments, and other withholdings.
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax reports, and other payroll-related documentation.
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and tax filings.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as payroll laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and employee data.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification in Payroll (CPP or FPC) is a plus.
  • Experience with at least 250 people.
