ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a skilled Traveling Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit to join our team. As a Traveling Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and track changes in patients' conditions and report this information to the doctor heading the treatment team.
- Change dressings, provide wound care, and perform minor bedside procedures, such as IV or catheterization.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the doctor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the doctor.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
