**About the Role:**

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team at Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confidential Services: Provide confidential services to survivors, including answering the 24-hour hotline, advocacy, crisis intervention, referrals, safety planning, and follow-ups.
  • Shelter Operations: Assist with day-to-day operations, including providing shelter coverage, maintaining health and safety, transporting survivors, and facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Community Collaboration: Work with other agencies to secure services for survivors and their children.
Requirements:
  • Certifications and Qualifications: At least one year of experience working with survivors of trauma preferred; certification of CPR, First Aid, AED, and Narcan preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with diverse populations; ability to model open communication, fair and equitable treatment, management of conflicts, and work in team structure; computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
