About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nursing Faculty member to join our team at Arizona College of Nursing. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum for nursing education programs
  • Teach and evaluate students in the classroom and clinical settings
  • Lead simulation learning experiences and design effective learning environments
  • Support students' progression in academics and socialization into the role of nursing
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of program policies
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in nursing or a related field
  • Minimum of three years' experience as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care
  • Previous experience teaching in a registered nursing program at a college or university is preferred
  • Holds a current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or enhance compact nurse licensure relevant to the state of teaching location
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in area of nursing specialty
  • Maintains professional competence/expertise in teaching through activities such as nursing practice, continuing education programs, conferences, workshops, seminars, academic courses, research projects and professional writing
