Job Title: Structures Technician - Dragon Spacecraft

At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of space technology to make humanity a multi-planetary species. As a Structures Technician - Dragon Spacecraft, you'll play a critical role in the assembly and fabrication of our spacecraft, ensuring the highest level of quality and precision.

Responsibilities:
  • Modify, repair, and assemble rocket and spacecraft components
  • Use various tools and equipment to perform tasks such as drilling, reaming, and countersinking
  • Check and verify parts and assemblies for accuracy and quality
  • Apply sealants, adhesives, and special finishes as required
  • Load and unload ovens to bond detail parts to assemblies
  • Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in a safe and approved manner
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in structural assembly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work off-shift with minimal notice
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • Ability to work all shifts and be available for overtime and weekends as needed
