A Physical Therapist (PT) plays a vital role in the healthcare system, helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and improving their overall quality of life.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment and Evaluation
  • Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Review medical history and diagnostic tests to understand patients' conditions.
  • Establish baseline data on patients' physical capabilities to inform treatment decisions.
Developing Treatment Plans
  • Create personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals, progress, and needs.
  • Identify short- and long-term rehabilitation goals, focusing on strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment approaches.
Providing Therapeutic Interventions
  • Implement various physical therapy interventions, including strengthening exercises, range of motion exercises, balance training, manual therapy, and modalities.
  • Educate patients on proper posture, movement techniques, and body mechanics to prevent future injury.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients performing exercises both in the clinic and at home.
